Castling Labs is the independent practice of Giuseppe, an engineer working across document intelligence, quantitative trading systems, and enterprise software. It's the place for projects built outside client work — slower, more deliberate, and entirely self-directed.

Castling is the only move in chess where two pieces move at once: the king slides to safety, the rook advances beside it.

That's the shape this practice tries to keep. Build the foundation first — the part that has to hold under pressure — and let it be what creates room to try new things. Not speed for its own sake, and not caution for its own sake either. Both, in the right order.
